Underground Poetry Café LIVE! is a virtual café that takes place
on-site at various locations. Gweny Love performs and provides a meeting
place where interesting people come to laugh and relax, while meeting new
friends, exchanging ideas, and enjoying a night out on the town in the
lovely city of
Philadelphia.
She
presents conscious-poetry that entertains, uplifts, energizes, and educates
listeners. The goal is to maintain a high-quality, friendly, accepting
atmosphere. We accept and support that
poetry can be intense and possess strong
social views. Nonetheless, to ascertain
integrity and provide utmost respect for owners, management, affiliates, and
guests , poets are asked to adhere to the following guidelines: 1.) To not
use the venue as a platform to purposefully insult and attack any particular
group based on their religion, sexual orientation, race, culture, or
ethnicity, 2.) To refrain from poetry that contains profanity, genitalia,
erotica, intolerance, blasphemy, and separatism, 3.) To support the
facility by making purchases of its goods and services or to make donations
as expected.
